Dojang rules Rules for sparring

GENERAL REGULATIONS FOR THE DOJANG (STUDIO)


  • 1. Shoes should be removed prior to entering the training area.

  • 2. No jewelry is to be worn while training.

  • 3. No food, chewing gum, or smoking is allowed.

  • 4. Do not curse, swear, or use any other vulgar language.

  • 5. No screaming, running around, or any other type of playground horseplay will be tolerated.

  • 6. Always come to train properly groomed, i.e. normal hygiene.

  • 7. Arrive early and immediately change into your DoBoK (uniform).

  • 8. You must have a complete uniform to train.

  • 9. T-shirts may be worn under your uniform, but shirts with a collar are not allowed.

  • 10. Your DoBok must be maintained neat and clean.

  • 11. While in uniform, sitting on benches, chairs, or other furniture is not allowed.

  • 12. The school is not responsible for personal belongings left in the dressing room. Take your belongings home with you.

  • 13. All school property must be used properly under instructor supervision.

  • 14. All students are responsible for the general cleanliness of the Dojang. Keep the dressing rooms neat, and clean up after yourself in the restroom.

  • 15. Students must obey and show respect towards all instructors. Always address them as "sir" or "ma'am".

  • 16. Never come to train under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • 17. Guests are allowed to observe class but they should never interrupt the individual or the instructor.

  • 18. All students of the Bill Jones Tae Kwon Do Academy are members of one family and should show respect and consideration to each other.
